There are many disadvantages of not recycling the scrap batteries and disposing those batteries on lands or in fire. battery disposal in fire can result in explosion. Disposing of the batteries can create health risks for the human beings as well as the animals living on the earth and also it can be risky for the environment of the earth. This is because of the materials it is made up of and the use of mercury in it. Safety risks occur when many used batteries are disposed in a group. This is because the used batteries are not completely dead.
